A pledge is created when a recurring gift is created. This pledge should be updated with the status so that reports can be generated in DonorPerfect based on statuses.

We've added the functionality to update pledges in DonorPerfect based on changes to the corresponding recurring plan in Givecloud. This also includes status updates. https://help.givecloud.com/en/articles/10606449-enhanced-dp-pledges-for-automated-pledge-updates
